You want peace? You struggle, weep,

Devising methodologies

To keep the warring tribes at bay,

And yet within you peace has fled;

Turbulent mind and troubled heart

Keep peace away and stifle love.

Establish first the peace within,

No outward violence disturb

Its luminous and silver reign,

The roiling waters of your being

Calm, the restless vital nature

Still, the tranquil mind receive

That peace imbue with strength and grace

The mission for which your soul has come.

Trust in That alone, the force

Divine, of the transforming power.
